Namche bazaar trek is the short and easy trek in Everest region. Being a small town in touristic area, Namche facilitate with normal to luxury accommodation, market, resraurant, bar, museum, hospital, medicals and many more facilities. It is the most developed village of mountains in Nepal. We can have panoramic view of Mount Everest, Kongde Ri, Kusum Kanguru, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse Thamserkhu Khumbila,Twache, Lhotse and many more peaks of Mahalangur Himal range from different viewpoints of Namche. The major view point of Namche are Everest view hotel (3880 m), Syangboche hill, Sagarmatha National and park museum.
Lukla to Namche Bazaar trek is six days trekking that begins with dramatic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu or Ramechhap. The small aircraft and small airport will surprise every trekkers. The geographical challenge is well balanced by maintaining the area of the infrastructure. The trekking to Namche begins from Lukla. We will descend to Phakding from Lukla. The trekking route to Phakding is easy that passes through the bank of Dudhlodshi. The flowing Dundhkoshi, greenery and peaceful environment of Khumbu region is great to explore. The small settlement on the river bank gives best room for night stay in Phakding. The second day trekking begins with the delicious breakfast of the tea house in Phakding. The ascending and descending trail to Namche is relatively challenging than route to Phakding. We will enter the Sagarmatha national park from Monjo village. The diverse flora and fauna, Hillary suspension bridge, ascends and descends on pine trail are major landmarks during the trek to Namche from Phakding. We will pass through small Sherpa villages: Tok Tok, Benkar, Chomos and Monjo villages on the trail. Along with passing the villages we can explore the Sherpa’s life and culture.
Morning hike to Namche view point, exploring the museum, Syangboche airport and interacting with Sherpa people are the major activity in Namche Bazzar. We can trek to Everest view hotel and enjoy the coffee with mountain view. We can hike to Khumjung village for panoramic view of mountains and landscape as well. After exploring Namche we can extend our trek to Tengboche or return to Phakding on following days.

Namche Bazaar Trek Itinerary
Namche Bazaar trek is 7 days trekking from Kathmandu to Kathmandu. the detailed itinerary explains the day wise activity that occurs during the day.
First day of trek is your arrival day. One of the company member will be in airport for your pickup. After checking in to hotel we will meet our guide and get briefing of the trek. You can do your last minute shopping in Thamel and enjoy the evening market.
Depending on our flight time we will leave for airport. If the flight occurs from Kathmandu then we will leave for airport at 5: 30 am or 5: am based on the flight. The Lukla flight duration is 25 minute from Kathmandu and 20 minute from Ramechhap. If flight occurs from Ramechhap then we should have early morning drive to Ramechhap. It takes around five hours to reach Ramechhap from Kathmandu. So, we should wake up around 2 am to reach airport on time.
After reaching Lukla we will have some food and start our trekking towards Phakding. Lukla to Phakding trek is short and easy trekking which is also known as warm up trekking in Kumbu region. We should cover around 8 km distance from Lukla to Phakding village.
The Namche trek from Phakding starts after having breakfast. We will start the trek around 8: 00 am. It takes around 7 hours to reach Namche from Lukla. The milky Dudh Koshi, Hillary suspension bridge, pine trail, uphills and downhills on Sagarmatha national park are major entities of the trail. We will take permit in Monjo and have lunch in the tea house on the way. Trekking to Namche is harder than Phakding trek.
It is the best day of the trek for panoramic view of Mount Everest and many more peaks of mountains of Everest region. We will trek to Khumjung village, Namche view point, Everest view hotel and museum. We will enjoy the local salt tea, local food and Sherpa culture.
After having breakfast in Namche, we will trek down to Lukla. It takes around eight hours to reach Lukla from Namche. The trek completes after reaching Lukla.
Depending on our flight time we will take flight to Kathmandu/ Ramechhap and check into hotel. In the evening we will have farewell dinner. You can also visit Thamel and do last minute shopping before leaving Nepal.
Depending on the flight time we will drop you to airport for your final departure.
